The owner's daughter came to visit her father and found him dead, while his partner in a coma of unknown origin. An investigation is under way. A man aged 75 was taken to the hospital after he got poisoned with carbon monoxide emitted by his defective stove. One day earlier, the man called the ambulance, but refused to be hospitalized. A 32-year-old woman tried to kill herself by taking pills. She was admitted into Saint Trinity Hospital for detoxification. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Emergency Service responded to 743 calls, dealing with 122 cases of acute viral infection, 26 cases of flu, 14 cases of pneumonia, 61 cases of trauma, 15 deliveries and six strokes.
