A man was found dead in a manhole in Buiucani district of Chisinau. The police were notified by a dweller of an apartment building located on Calea Ieșilor St.

Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati said the police officers who travelled to the scene determined that the man aged between 40 and 45 was dead. The medical examiner didn’t find signs of a violent death on the body.

“After examining the scene and discussing with witnesses, the police determined that the man didn’t have a permanent place of residence and found shelter in the manhole. Measures are being taken to identify the man,” stated Natalia Stati.
