A man aged 35 died after he fell from the balcony situated on the fifth floor of an apartment building in Botanica district of Chisinau while removing icicles.

Press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Svetlana Scripnic has told IPN that the man tried to take down the icicles from the common balcony, but lost balance and fell. He died before an ambulance arrived.

It happened on March 24. The municipality said the citizens can ask for tower trucks to reach high places. Requests can be made to the Municipal Central Dispatcher’s Office on (022) 22-22-67 and (022) 22-26-04.
