A man was killed after he was crushed under the wheels of a taxicab on Dacia Blvd. in Chisinau on Sunday evening. Dana Andronic, of the General Police Commissariat's press office, has told Info-Prim Neo that the 35-years-old man was struck by a 1499 Dacia-Logan taxi when he crossing the street near an apartment building. One day earlier, a 25-year-old man driving a Volkswagen under the influence and without a license hit two pedestrians – a man aged 27 and a girl aged 16. The two suffered medium traumas. The driver left the scene, but was soon identified. He could stand trial. Four road accidents happened in Chisinau on the weekend. They resulted in one death and four persons injured.
