An unknown 60 year old man suddenly died this Thursday in the crowd that was out to celebrate Chisinau’s Day in the city center, Info-Prim Neo reports. Emergency Service spokesperson Eufalia Negreata, has communicated that the man suffered an instant death. It happened on the Stefan cel Mare Avenue, between the Mihai Eminescu and Vlaicu Parcalab streets. The witnesses said that the man was walking alone. When the ambulance came, the paramedics couldn’t do anything to save him. The COD will be established by the forensics. The Emergency Squad says that the cause is most likely cardiac arrest. On the same day, a 52 year old woman has suffered surgery after trying to suicide by cutting the veins of both her forearms. A 15 year old girl and a 39 year old woman ingested pills for the same purpose. They were both interned for detox. A worker from a construction site situated on the Balcani Highway fell from about 3 meters and has suffered multiple fractures in the sacral area. In Criuleni, a 27 year old woman requested medical care after claiming to be raped. The case has been taken over by the police. On Chisinau’s Day, the Emergency Service has been called 648 times.
