Man dies in Metropolitan Church’s courtyard

A man died after falling of the roof of a building on the territory of the Moldovan Metropolitan Church, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Eufalia Negreata, coordinator medic of the Emergency Service, has said the 50 year old man was working on the roof without safety equipment. He slipped and fell from the 4th floor and died upon the impact with the soil.
On the same day, an ambulance was stopped on the viaduct by some men who were transporting an injured person from Tipala village. He was the victim of an accident during harvesting and suffered a collarbone open fracture, scalp wound, breast and neck injuries.
A 14 year old girl was found by the police with a bag on her head, breathing toxic glue vapors. She was hospitalized in the Center for Mother’s and Child’s Healthcare. The parents risk being punished.
On Friday and Saturday morning, October 16, ambulances in Chisinau answered to 674 calls. 73 cases were related to traumas, 48 to viral infections, 20 to pneumonia, 4 strokes and 10 births.
