Man dies at entrance to Central Market
A man who went to the Chisinau Central Market with his wife to do the shopping on Wednesday died suddenly at the entrance to the market from Tighina St. When the ambulance arrived, the 46-year-old man was lying dead. His wife told the doctors he lost his balance and fell down. She tried to wake him up, but he showed no signs of life.
Chisinau Ambulance Service coordinating doctor Eufalia Negreata has told Info-Prim Neo that most probably the man died as a result of heart failure.
Two more persons died on Wednesday – a child aged 13, who was suffering from cerebral palsy, and a 35-year-old homeless man, who was found dead in a public toilet.
A man aged 60 from Cricova town was taken to the hospital with first- and second-degree burns on the face, neck and arms that he received when he fell asleep with his burning cigarette that caused a fire.
On Wednesday and last night, the Chisinau ambulance teams traveled to 758 addresses and dealt with 82 cases of trauma, 40 cases of acute viral infection, two heart attacks, five strokes, 25 deliveries and other emergencies.
