A tragic case happened at the sports airport in Vadul lui Voda town. The National Emergency Medicine Center informed that a man aged 40 didn’t manage to open up the parachute and suffered fatal injuries when crashing, IPN reports.

The incident happened on October 6. According to the preliminary inquiries, the height from which the man parachuted was the required one. It is yet to be established if the parachute was damaged or other factors prevented him from opening the parachute up.

The same day, an unidentified man in his 30s was found dead near a building on Piata Unirii St in Chisinau. Dwellers presume the man fell from the upper stories of the building. An investigation is under way.
