Man dies after falling into manhole

A man died after falling into a utility hole in Posta Veche neighborhood in Chisinau's Rascani district.
Petru Cravet, spokesman of the National Center of Emergency Medicine, told Info-Prim Neo that the 66-year-old took his goats to the pasture. It is still unknown how he fell into the manhole. The man was already dead when the doctors arrived.
Another man, aged 73, was hospitalized in the intensive care ward after falling in the basement of a house under construction. The incident happened on Garii Street. The man suffered serious injuries, including a head trauma and a brain contusion, a fracture of the skull base and a closed fracture of the left leg.
