A man from a village of Hâncești district died after he was hurt by parts of a disc from the grinder he was using.

Contacted by IPN for details, senior press officer of the Hâncești Police Inspectorate Cristina Vicol said that it happened while the man was using an angle grinder in his yard. At a certain moment, the disc broke and parts of this caused neck injuries to the man. The wounds turned out to be fatal for the 64-year-old man.

An investigation is under way to establish all the circumstances of this case.
