A man was brought to hospital in a critical state after he slashed several times his throat. The incident occurred in the courtroom of the Centru District Court located in Chisinau, where the man was participating in a trail as defendant. Emergency Service Doctor Coordinator Anatol Proca told Info-Prim Neo that the, aged 53, cut his throat with a blade. One of the cuts injured the artery so that when the doctors came the man lost very much blood an suffered a hemorrhagic shock. The doctors gave him the first aid and urgently transported the man to the hospital. The secretary of the penal cases department of the Centru District Court, Liuba Iacob told Info-Prim Neo that the incident happened during the trial. The man was accused of committing a robbery. The man cut his throat after the judge read the verdict according to which he had to be convicted for a period of 3 years. He managed to say during this incident that they would have his death on the conscience. Although the man was a recidivist, he was not held in custody during the investigation, but he was prohibited from leaving the city. A similar case happened in a dwelling located on Alba Iulia Street. A woman aged 52 stabbed herself in the abdomen trying to commit suicide. The woman was transported to the Emergency Hospital. During the last 24 hours, the Emergency Service of Chisinau registered 702 calls, including 64 cases of severe virosis, 56 traumatisms and 5 head strokes.
