A man aged 42 who worked as a hauler at a shopping center located on Pushkin St in Chisinau was crushed to death by an elevator carrying freight.
Press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati has told IPN that the accident was the result of a moment’s inattention. The man looked down into the shaft and didn’t see the descending elevator. The collision was fatal and the man died on the spot.
