Two men aged 34 and 52 were found dead in the yard of an apartment building located on Dacia Blvd in Chisinau. Medical examiners detected on the bodies a number of knife stabs that presumably were the cause of death. As a result of the actions taken by the sector police and prosecutor, the suspect was identified and arrested. This turned out to be the man who notified the police, IPN reports. 

When being questioned, the suspect said that he and the victims drank alcoholic beverages together and they ultimately got into a quarrel. He went to his home, took a knife and then stabbed the two.

Legal action was taken against him over murder. The man had been earlier convicted of domestic violence.
