A 21-year-old man decapitated his friend and then hanged himself. This is the police's preliminary version about the tragedy that occurred in Selemet village, Cimislia district.

The police were called by a woman, who told them that her husband had committed a serious crime. The police went to the man's house where they found his body. The 21 year old had hanged himself in an outbuilding. In the same room, the police found the body of one of his friends, who had not been seen by his relatives for 3 days.

After searching the whole household, the police found buried the victim's hands and head.

The investigation established that on February 9, the suspect and three friends, including the victim, got drunk. The cause of the murder might have been an alcohol-fueled fight.
