A man aged 60 from Cimișlia town was rushed to the hospital with injuries that he received when he was attacked by a wild boar while hunting, IPN reports.

According to press officer of the Cimișlia Police Inspectorate Cristina Vicol, the police were alerted by health workers who gave first aid to the man.

It was later established that the man was hunting in a rush strip when he was attacked by the boar. His hunting companions said no billets were shot at the wild pig.

The injured hunter was taken to the Cimișlia District Hospital with penetrating abdominal trauma and with multiple arm injuries. The investigation goes on.
