A 40-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man died after the car by which they travelled was hit sideways by a minibus. The accident occurred on Friday near Bilicenii Vechi village of Sângerei district, IPN reports.

The General Police Inspectorate said the minibus was driven by a 36-year-old man. He hit the car driven by the woman sideways, leaving her no chance of survival.

In both vehicles there was by a passenger, who were transported to the hospital in Balti for medical assistance. In a short time, the male passenger involved in the accident also died.

The driver of the minibus was also hospitalized. Biological samples were taken from him and the result showed that he hadn’t drunk any alcohol.
