Three bodies were discovered in an apartment on Andrei Saharov Street, in Chisinau’s Riscani district.

Mariana Beţivu, spokesperson of the General Police Inspectorate, said that a man called 112 at around 2:40 pm to report the gruesome find. He told the police that he had been called by a friend who told him that he had killed his parents-in-law and was about to commit suicide. The man rushed to the place to only find all the three people dead.

The elderly couple were aged 80 and 83 years. The man believed to have committed the crime before taking his own life was 60. His potential motives are unknown yet.
