A 73-year-old man with COVID-19 died at the Emergency Medicine Institute in Chisinau in the morning of April 16, IPN reports, quoting the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.
The man was admitted to the hospital in critical condition on April 2. He suffered from type 2 diabetes and a chronic disease.
This is the 55th death caused by the novel coronavirus in Moldova so far.
