It is not right to make the holders of entrepreneur's patents to buy compulsory health insurance polices if they want their patents to be renewed, Prime Minister Vlad Filat said, when asked to comment on the situation, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Premier, every institution has its own obligations and they should work with the people, not profit from the relations they have with other institutions. Vlad Filat instructed Minister of Finance Veaceslav Negruta to inspect the local tax inspectorates that go beyond orders, invoking the amendments made to the law on mandatory health insurance policies, demand that the people pay the full price of the policy at once even if they purchased the entrepreneur's patent only three months ago. He demanded annulling the ordinance made by the Ministry of Finance after the above-mentioned amendments took effect, whereby the patentees are obliged to purchase health insurance polices. “It is probably ambiguous if it is misinterpreted,” the Premier said.
