Moldova manager Sergiu Kleshchenko announced the extended lineup for the friendly matches against Uganda and South Korea that were set to take place in Turkey on January 18 and January 21, IPN reports.
The lineup is as follows: Stanislav Namashko, Emil Tîmbur, Cristian Avram – goalkeepers; Ion Jardan, Ioan-Călin Revenco, Maxim Potîrniche, Denis Marandici, Vadim Bolohan, Denis Furtună, Artiom Litveacov, Artur Crăciun – fullbacks; Victor Bogaciuc, Corneliu Cotogoi, Marius Iosipoi, Sergiu Platica, Mihai Platica, Iaser Țurcan, Alexandru Antoniuc, Alexandr Belousov, Mihail Caimacov, Dmitri Mandrîcenco – halfbacks; Ion Nicolaescu, Artiom Puntus, Vladimir Ambros, Virgiliu Postolachi – strikers.
Sergiu Kleshchenko will make his debut as the coach of the national football team of Moldova in the match against Uganda, which will be the 260th game for Moldova. The training session in Turkey is a preparatory stage before the two legs against Kazakhstan scheduled for March 24 and March 29. These will show in what division Moldova will play in the 2022-23 UEFA Nations League. If Moldova emergencies victorious, it will keep the place in League C, alongside Slovakia, Belarus and Azerbaijan. If it is defeated by Kazakhstan, Moldova will be relegated to League D, where it will compete in Group D1 together with Liechtenstein, Andorra and Latvia.
