Minister of the Interior Dorin Recean made an order to dismiss Major Andrei Axenti, an employee of the Chisinau General Police Commissariat. Axenti last week was involved in a road accident on Teilor St, where four pedestrians were hurt, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Ministry of the Interior, when the operative group of the Traffic Police came to the scene, Andrei Axenti showed lack of respect for his colleagues and the superiors. It was later established that he was driving under the influence, during work hours. The Prosecutor’s Office started a criminal case over the injuring of pedestrians. The driver faces up to 7 years in jail.
