The main streets of Chisinau that are used by public transport have been cleared of snow and fallen trees, the municipal authorities say in a press release.

According to the information available at 3pm, the streets Calea Orheiului, Moscova, Renasterii Nationale, Kiev, Bogdan Voievod, Alecu Russo, Mircea cel Batran, Petru Zadnipru, Mihai Sadoveanu, Muncesti, Dacia, Decebal, Constantin Negruzzi, Stefan cel Mare, Vasile Alecsandri, Soseaua Hancesti, Bucuresti, Vasile Lupu, Calea Iesilor, Alba Iulia, Ion Creanga, except for the section between Belinski and Alba Iulia, where works are carried out, are all passable.

The trolleybuses on routes No. 22, 24 and 25 resumed work, but have shorter itineraries. A number of minibus routes are also available. By 3pm, almost 200 apartment buildings asked to be reconnected to the heat supply.
