Maia Sandu: We should not divide people! We are all part of Moldova

President Maia Sandu, who is running for a new term in office, made a call for unity. "We should not divide the people by ethnicity. We should not blame the citizens who voted in one way or another. We are all part of Moldova," said the candidate of the Party of Action and Solidarity, quoted by IPN.

Maia Sandu noted that the people managed to win for so many times in complicated and unfair battles only because they stood united. "We showed for many times that evil can be defeated with love for the nation and with faith. With trust in each other," said the head of state.

The official stated that we all live here and we want it to be well. The antagonization of the people only helps those who want to bring the thieves back to power. "Our people knew even in the most difficult times to live in harmony, together, to build a house, a village, a country. We are united by humanity and we want the same thing – peace and well-being at home," said Maia Sandu.

The PAS candidate reached the runoff presidential election after winning 42.45% of the vote in the first round of voting. On November 3, she will duel with the candidate of the Party of Socialists Alexandr Stoianoglo, who obtained 25.98% of the poll in the first round.
