Maia Sandu congratulated the state institutions that managed to persuade the European Commission, the European Union to disburse the first €14.54 million, unfreezing thus the foreign financing for Moldova.
Maia Sandu said this is a first victory of the current Government scored slightly after a month of its investing, IPN reports.
“It should be clear to everyone: this is a grant, a donation. This money is not reimbursed and from now on we have to work even more - all those who have to implement reforms to persuade the foreign partners and the people that we are serious when we speak about commitments so as to obtain the whole planned sum from the foreign partners, in particular from the EU,” the Premier stated at the beginning of the Cabinet meeting.
