Maia Sandu: We leave all options open for parliamentary elections

The Party “Action and Solidarity” (PAS) leaves all the options open for the parliamentary elections that will take place in 2018, the party’s leader Maia Sandu stated in the program “Geopolitics” on Noroc TV channel, IPN reports.

“A party is founded to struggle for power. We need power to be able to bring things in this country in order and free the state institutions and consolidate them so that they work in the interests of the state. There are a lot of things that can be done when one comes to power. At the same time, this does not mean that we will accept any rule of the game that is not within the limits of normality,” stated Maia Sandu.

She noted that she wants a list of people around whom to concentrate the whole society for the parliamentary elections. “We do not stick to the party interests only. We are ready to invite other people to join this list. We are ready to go beyond political parties as it is a turning point for the Republic of Moldova,” said the politician.

The leader of the PAS also said that the party’s team now experiences unprecedented persecution on the part of the power. What the Democratic Party does now is terror. The people are afraid to say who they support, not to even take an active part and promote a particular party.
