“I wish good luck to all those who open businesses, make products we are proud of, create jobs in our communities and contribute to the development of Moldova”, declared President Maia Sandu on her visit to the Entrepreneur Expo at Moldexpo.
Maia Sandu noted that she met “a lot of brave entrepreneurs” at the exhibition. “More than 100 Moldovan companies exhibited their products and services, among them several family businesses or companies started by women”, the president said.
The president noted that the Organization for the Development of Entrepreneurship, the organizer of the exhibition, has already managed to provide financial support to 3 thousand small and medium-sized companies that used the funds for innovation, growth and the creation of new jobs.
The exhibition aims to bring together representatives of the business community and state institutions with the purpose of giving a new impetus to the development of the sector of small and medium enterprises in Moldova, supporting and promoting them by offering the possibility of making products.
The agenda includes a series of seminars, round tables, workshops, presentations of business support programs in which the most current and useful topics will be addressed, so that Moldovan business becomes more attractive, sustainable and modern. The exhibition can be visited by the public until November 26.
