President Maia Sandu will be paying an official visit to Paris during February 3-4. While in Paris, she will have meetings with her French counterpart Emmanuel Macron and other high-ranking officials. The visit is aimed at giving a new impetus to the political, economic and cultural relations between the Republic of Moldova and France, IPN reports, with reference to the presidential press service.
Maia Sandu will meet with the President of the French Senate Gérard Larcher, members of the France – Republic of Moldova Friendship Group from the Senate, President of the National Assembly Richard Ferrand and members of the France – Republic of Moldova Friendship Group from the National Assembly.
She will also meet with the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian, Minister of Public Sector Transformation and the Civil Service Amélie de Montchalin, Secretary-General of La Francophonie Louise Mushikiwabo, the administration of MEDEF, which is the largest employers’ association of France, and representatives of French businesses.
The official delegation that will go to France consists of the adviser to the President on foreign policy Cristina Gherasimov, adviser to the President on public communication, spokeswomen Sorina Ștefîrță and deputy head of the State Guard and Protection Service Vasile Popa.
