The increase in the number of vaccinated people brings hope that the pandemic can be stopped. Today the COVID-19 vaccine is available to everyone and the citizens can even choose from among several types of vaccine. “We can do even more together and we should only accelerate the pace,” President Maia Sandu posted on Facebook, being quoted by IPN.

According to President Sandu, the provision of vaccine doses has been the territory of her team since the first day of mandate. “We realized that it is the only method for saving the citizens, the dear people and for keeping our health. We knocked at tens of doors and held tens of rounds of talks and we succeeded,” wrote the official.

Last weakened, the number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in Moldova passed the figure of 409,000. Over 73,000 people got both of the vaccine doses during three months since the vaccination campaign was launched.
