Maia Sandu: PDM and PSRM are as toxic for democratic process

The Party “Action and Solidarity” (PAS) will not form an alliance with the Party of Socialists (PSRM) or the Democratic Party (PDM) if it enters Parliament after the upcoming legislative elections, PAS leader Maia Sandu stated in the program “Important” on TVC21 channel, IPN reports.

“A coalition with the Socialists is out of the question. In the resolution adopted at the party’s congress, we included a point that reiterates our request to the Prosecutor’s Office to examine the proofs we invoke when we accuse Igor Dodon of betrayal of the state interests. And we said it clearly that we will not form an alliance with the Democratic Party,” said Maia Sandu.

The PAS leader noted that the party she heads considers the PSRM and PDM are as toxic for the democratic process in the Republic of Moldova and for the country’s people. “While they play with all kinds of electoral systems and invent all kinds of things to be able to keep power, the people face very serious problems,” she stated.
