The president of the Party “Action and Solidarity” Maia Sandu said February 24 is a nice and sunny day appropriate for all the citizens to go and vote for the electoral bloc ACUM. After casting her ballot, Maia Sandu told the journalists that we must realize how serious the situation in the Republic of Moldova is and how important it is to bring the thefts and backsliding to an end, IPN reports.
The PAS leader stated time has come to bring things in order in society until it is not too late. “A group of thieves who captured the state institutions and use them daily against us by scaring, threatening and impoverishing us, is dangerous for the county. It is our chance and duty to save the country, society and the future of our children,” stated Maia Sandu.
She added that the current government tries to rig the elections. It is worrisome that a large number of people from the Transnistrian region are brought to vote in an organized way. “All those who realize how serious the situation is and who do not allow to be manipulated and lied to should mobilize and vote in a large number,” said the politician.
Parliamentary elections and a national consultative referendum take place in Moldova on February 24. The polling places were opened at 7am and will be closed at 9pm.
