If the upcoming legislative elections are free and fair, the bloc of which the Party “Action and Soldarity” (PAS) will form part will obtain a majority of seats in Moldova’s Parliament, said the party’s leader Maia Sandu. According to her, there is a risk that these elections will not be recognized at international level, if there are many cases of falsification, IPN reports.
Maia Sandu said they also anticipate the possibility that the electoral bloc would be in the parliamentary opposition, but this will struggle to obtain a majority. “In the current situation, when the people leave the country and this government showed what it can and what it wants for us all, we cannot allow something like this to continue for another four years,” the politician stated in the program “Important” on TVC21 channel.
Maia Sandu said the people realize that the leader of the Democratic Party and President Igor Dodon cooperate and are aware of the fact that if they vote for the first, they will also vote for the second and vice versa. That’s why they bank on the bloc’s good result in the parliamentary elections and want the electoral bloc that will include the PAS to represent the whole society.
