The Party of Action and Solidarity’s candidate for President Maia Sandu said that she voted today for Moldova and she trusts that the citizens will make a good choice for our country, as they always helped the country advance and protected it from evil, IPN reports.
"Today, more than ever, we must be united, keep our peace, guard our vote, guard our independence. Thieves want to buy our vote, thieves want to buy our country, but the power of the people is infinitely greater than any of their filth. The power of Moldova is in each of you. Come out to vote with faith and hope. Keep the head up, Moldovans!", Maia Sandu said when going out of the polling station.
On election day, political campaigning is strictly prohibited. It is not allowed to carry out or cover electoral activities. The contending candidates are banned from appearing in television or radio shows.
Polling stations are open until 09:00 p.m.
