President Maia Sandu addressed a congratulatory message to the Jewish community, which will celebrate Hanukkah during the next eight days. In her message, the head of state stressed the importance of this holiday, which is not only a celebration of light, but also a symbol of faith, hope and solidarity.
"I congratulate the Jewish community in the Republic of Moldova and around the world on the occasion of Hanukkah – the beautiful festival of lights. This is an opportunity to reflect on the fundamental values of our society: solidarity between communities, mutual respect, tolerance and protection of peace in the country and in the world," said Maia Sandu.
The President concluded the message with the wish "Hag Hanukkah Sameach!", wishing those who celebrate this holiday a period full of light and blessings.
