Maia Sandu goes to Brussels to take part in EaP Summit

President Maia Sandu will be visiting Brussels on December 14-15. There, she will take part in the sixth Eastern Partnership Summit and will have meetings with heads of state and government of EaP and EU member states and with higher-ranking EU officials, IPN reports.

On December 14, Presider Sandu will give a speech in the opening of the tenth meeting of CORLEAP – Conference of the Regional and Local Authorities for the Eastern Partnership that bring together mayors and local leaders from the region and from European states. On December 15, she will take part in the EaP Summit together with counterparts from other states.

The presidential administration said Moldova’s delegation will include the secretary general of the President’s Executive Office Cristina Gherasimov, Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, and Ambassador Daniela Morari, the Head of the Republic of Moldova’s Mission to the European Union.
