The leader of the Party “Action and Solidarity” Maia Sandu said the division in the new local elections in Chisinau municipality is bad and it is not yet late for the candidates who were already announced to withdraw in favor of a common candidate. She made such a statement in the talk show “Important” on TVC21 channel, IPN reports.
“This is my call to all those who want Moldova to have a pro-European future and want Chisinau to be managed by a responsible person who will not form part of the oligarchic clan of Plahotniuc and Dodon,” stated Maia Sandu.
She noted the unity can make the difference in the upcoming mayoral elections. The common candidate’s electoral program can be discussed and changed so as to satisfy all the sides. She referred to the position of a party, which said that if Maia Sandu had run in elections, they wouldn’t have fielded their own candidate. “It is not too late to make certain changes if it is the case,” said the politician.
