President Maia Sandu on August 11 will have a meeting with the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozak. The meeting will also be attended by Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Vlad Kulminski and Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, IPN reports.
“The President of the Republic of Moldova is responsible for foreign policy or has important prerogatives in the field of foreign policy. Respectively, I will have a meeting and this will also involve the deputy prime minister, minister of foreign affairs and the deputy prime minister in charge of issues related to the Transnistrian conflict,” Maia Sandu told a news conference.
She didn’t specify the subjects that will be discussed in the meeting.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the Russian official will meet with Moldovan functionaries to discuss key issues from the Moldovan-Russian bilateral agenda.
