President Maia Sandu called upon the citizens of Chisinau to cast their ballots on July 11. According to the official, a chance is offered to clean the political class and to bring the people closer to it, IPN reports. In a video posted on her Facebook page, President Sandu says the inhabitants of Chisinau decide who will form part of the future Parliament and Government and also how swiftly corruption and poverty will be eradicated in Moldova.
Who can bring things in the state in order? Who is able to manage the country so as to overcome the crisis? Who can ensure the paid taxes do not reach the pockets of several persons? Who can attract investments so that big infrastructure projects are implemented; the economy is helped to create well-paid jobs at home? Will the people be able to work at home with proper salaries or they will have to look again for opportunities abroad? – these are questions to which the voters should find answers before they give their vote, stated the official.
Maia Sandu said a lot depends on Parliament and on the parliamentary majority, while the vote of July 11 will be an opportunity to rid the country of thieves.
Earlier, Maia Sandu called on the diaspora to vote on July 11 and to also urge others to choose a good future for the country.
The President’s messages form part of a campaign to promote participation in elections that was launched by the presidential administration.
