The European Action Movement (MAE) will take part in the early legislative elections with its own list of candidates, Info-Prim Neo reports. The party's National Council decided that the MAE will run in elections separately in order to strengthen the Democratic forces, the party says in a communique. The MAE considers it would have been better for Moldova if the Democratic parties had formed an electoral block, but the governing alliance rejected the related proposals. “The decision to take part in the early elections separately was taken after broad debates inside the party and after discussions with leaders of Moldovan democratic parties,” the MAE said.
