MAE says it is subjected to abuse
The Social-Political Movement “European Action” (MAE) says it is subjected to abuse by the Communist regime. In a press statement issued on March 30, the organization accuses the administration of Balti municipality, which represents the Communist Party (PCRM), of refusing to allow them to use the electrical energy to hold a concert, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the quoted source, the electoral concert given by the MAE on Sunday, March 30, was stopped by the Communists. “The abuse is part of a wider PCRM operation against the MAE as part of which the Romanian band Class and singer Anda Adam were banned from entering Moldova. The artists were to hold two electoral concerts organized by the MAE, but were not allowed by border guards of the Leuseni post to cross the border,” the statement says.
According to the MAE, the Romanian singers had all the documents needed to enter Moldova, including a contract signed with MAE representatives.
The statement also says that this dirty and violent campaign against it is a consequence of the fight against corruption launched by the MAE, which inconveniences all the dishonest politicians.
