MAE says Government should create new workplaces in villages

The extraparliamentary party European Action Movement (MAE) suggested that the Government should implement the national employment in rural areas strategy that was drafted by the party and promoted during the election campaign, Info-Prim Neo reports. The importance of such a move was highlighted by the MAE president Veaceslav Untila in a press briefing on January 19. “This strategy defines the steps that must be taken in different areas to stimulate the starting of new businesses in villages. The authorities should involve and contribute to the creation of new workplaces,” Veaceslav Untila said. According to the MAE, the implementation of the three-year strategy will enable to revitalize the processing industry in Moldova’s settlements. About 50 new workplaces may be created in every statement and the total number of jobs will rise to 72,000. “We hope that the Government will accept the proposals of the European Action Movement, showing thus that the principles and values stated by the Alliance for European Integration are not only declarations,” Veaceslav Untila said.
