The European Action Movement (MAE) amended its list of candidates for the November 28 early legislative elections. The order was changed, while six persons were replaced, Info-Prim Neo reports. The names of the candidates in the list presented earlier were written in alphabetical order. In a communiqué, the MAE says the list was modified after the party put into practice the performance criteria. The Central Election Commission approved the modifications. Student Stela Caraus, journalist Valentina Gac, doctor Viorica Jorovlea, engineer Valeriu Sterea, master Maxim Surdu, and historian Traian Vasilcau were struck off the list. They were substituted by Ion Barzu, mayor of Carpesti village of Cantemir district; Ion Hancu, pharmacist and deputy head of Cantemir district; Ion Gudumac, engineer-technologist and head of Leova district; Dumitru Simon, economist and head of Criuleni district; Gheorghe Urecheanu, jurist, pensioner; Gheorghe Vasilachi, engineer-agronomist and head of Cahul district.
