MAE invites PLDM and PL to talks
The chairman of the European Action Movement (MAE) Veaceslav Untila sent a letter to the Liberal leader Mihai Ghimpu and Liberal-Democrat leader Vlad Filat, suggesting joining forces and taking part in the early parliamentary elections together, Info-Prim Neo reports.
In a press briefing at the Palace of the Republic this morning, Veaceslav Untila said time has come for the Democratic parties to unite and formulate a common, coherent and serious platform.
The MAE invites the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) and the Liberal Party (PL) to talks so as to work out a method of jointly participating in the early legislative elections.
Veaceslav Untila said the Communists Party may return to power if the Democrats do not join forces. “We all will be responsible,” he stressed.
If no agreement is reached, the MAE will run in elections with its own list of candidates, Untila said.
