The candidates running for parliamentary seats on the list of the European Action Movement (MAE) have displayed their properties. They made public their income declarations on Friday on several boards. The action was staged in the Stefan cel Mare Park from the center of Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the statements they submitted to the Central Election Commission (CEC) MAE president Anatol Petrencu, number one on the election list, has managed to gather 96,000 lei from his job, for the last two years and owns a house and a Ford car. He has 20,000 lei in a bank. Number two on the list, Vitalia Pavlicenco, has gained over 207,000 lei from her salary of an MP for the last two years, has a three-room apartment, a plot of land, a holiday home, a plot of land in Rascani district and two cars. She also owns securities. MAE first deputy president Ion Neagu has gained over 235,000 lei, for the last two years. He also owns a three-room apartment, a plot of land and a car. The fourth person on MAE's list, Alexandra Can, the director general of a leather manufacturing company, has got the largest income from her job – almost 827,000 lei. Plus a three-room apartment, half of a three-room apartment, a car, half of a house and plot of land. She also owns securities. MAE president Anatol Petrencu has stated it's a first step from the election program of the party. “We declare our properties openly and we want these documents to serve as examples for others so that the people realize we'll be transparent as the future governance of Moldova,” Petrencu said. The boards stood in the public garden till 5 p.m. on Friday.
