According to the organizers, the exhibition brings together over 300 companies from different regions of the country operating in most of the sectors of the national economy. The goods have been displayed on an area of over 2,400 square meters.
After visiting the stands of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, Moldtelecom, Moldova's Post Office and other organizations and companies, Vlad Plahotniuc bought a carpet from “Acvila-Grup-Covoare Ungheni”. “I'm glad to see that the number of participants is increasing. This means we have products which we can be proud of. It is a signal for the government to launch a large-scale project to support the production of national goods,” said the official.
The exhibition “Made in Moldova” is organized by the Chamber of Trade and Industry of Moldova under the Government's auspices. It is aimed at supporting the national producers, promoting the services provided and products manufactured in the country, stimulating production of competitive goods and at offering the traders the possibility of familiarizing themselves with national products and services.
