“Made in Moldova” presents products and services of over 300 companies
More than 300 companies operating in all the sectors of the national economy will display their products, services and accomplishments at the 12th “Made in Moldova” exhibition that opens at Moldexpo on January 30. Small and medium-sized companies from 15 districts will take part in the exhibit with collective stands, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar told a news conference that the exhibition “Made in Moldova” became a platform of debates for economic operators and end-users about the quality of the Moldovan products. “Enhancement of the competitiveness of the products and services provided by companies is very important in the context of the talks over the Agreement on the Creation of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area between Moldova and the European Union,” he said.
According to the chairman of the Chamber of Trade and Industry Gheorghe Cucu, one of the most important components of the exhibit’s additional program will be the International Conference “Moldova – Possibilities for New Partnerships” that will take place at a hotel in Chisinau on January 31. The event will involve over 50 representatives of businesses from Romania, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, France, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. “Seven main sectors of the national economy will be promoted within the conference. Every potential foreign investor will receive by an Investment Guide of Moldova and a Catalogue of Investment Projects,” he stated.
The ceremony to award the winners of the Trademark of the Year contest will be held on January 31. There will be handed over awards for about 90 products and services that were most popular with the consumers in 2012.
The visitors of the exhibitions will be able to take part in product presentations, tasting events and in the Jobs Fair where 30 companies will present there offers.
