Made in Moldova Expo had record number of visitors

This year’s edition of the Made in Moldova exhibition, held between 30 January and 3 February, had a record number of visitors - over 53,000, compared to previous editions when the number did not exceed 50,000. Also, 60 memorandums of understanding were signed for the products and services provided by Moldovan companies. The information was presented Tuesday at a press conference held by the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, IPN reports.

The conference was also an occasion for the CCI and the Intellectual Property Agency (AGEPI) to launch the “2018 Best Trademarks” and the “Quality Awards” competition.

AGEPI director Lilia Bolocan said that the “Best Trademarks”, a competition started in 2003, is becoming more and more attractive every year. It aims at promoting successful business practices, familiarizing consumers with the best brands on the domestic market, and highlighting the most competitive companies in Moldova. The Quality Awards is also an annual competition to reward durable achievements in ensuring quality for goods and services.
