After a two-year hiatus, the exhibition “Made in Moldova” returns with a jubilee edition, the 20th. This will take place during February 1-5 and the organizers anticipate it will be a large-scale event that will bring together over 300 companies from all the country’s districts. Details were presented in a news conference that was held to launch the registration of participants in the event, IPN reports.
The chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergiu Harea said that priority in the 20th edition will be given to companies operating in the agro-industrial sector. To promote these companies, a wine industry forum will be held for the first time and this will involve representatives from Romania, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Egypt, Poland, Turkey and other countries.
The exhibition will occupy an area of 2,800 square meters. Among the about 300 participants, at least 40 companies are new. These are producers operating in the textile industry, industry, food and service sectors.
The stands of participants will be placed in two pavilions. The central pavilion will house agro-industrial products, food products and drinks, collective exhibitions of such districts as Hâncești, Leova, Nisporeni, Călărași, Criuleni, Ungheni, and Anenii Noi. The second pavilion will accommodate industrial, textile and furniture companies and other consumer goods companies that represent the brand “From the heart”. There will also be presented the services provided by public institutions.
Sergiu Harea noted that this year’s edition, besides the exhibition, includes a business component and a cultural program. The organizers estimate that the event will attract at least 50,000 visitors.
