Moldova’s U18 women’s basketball team ended up at the bottom of Division B of the European Championship. The young Tricolors suffered five consecutive defeats, IPN reports.
In the last match, Moldova was beaten by Macedonia, who had also lost four in a row. The girls coached by Natalia Paciu Dolgan were bested 47-124. Tatiana Cecoi scored the most points – 15.
In the previous matches, Moldova suffered defeats at the hands of Slovakia, Great Britain, Ireland and Ukraine. On Friday, August 11, the Tricolors will meet Georgia in the play-off for the 17th-24th spots.
