The admission to lyceums for the 2018 – 2019 school year begins on July 9. The first admission stage will take place during July 9-27. The lyceums that will not fill all the available places will stage the second admission round between August 6 and 15, IPN reports.
Within the first stage of July 9-27, applications will be collected during July 9-20. The average contest grades will be calculated and the list of admitted candidates will be compiled during July 23-24. On July 23, the lyceums that accept students based on exams will hold the tests. The admission contest results will be made public on July 26 and the report on the results of the lyceum admission session will be presented on July 26 and 27.
Within the second stage of August 6-15, submissions will be collected during August 6-8. On August 9, the average contest grades will be calculated and the admitted candidates will be chosen. The same day, the lyceums that accept students based on exams will hold the tests. The admission contest results will be posted on August 10. The final report on the results of the lyceum admission session will be presented on August 13 and 14.
The application files must contain the secondary school certificate, medical certificate, identity card and four pictures.
Over 30,000 students completed the ninth grade this year.
