Luxembourg expect Moldova to be tough nut to crack
Luxembourg manager Guy Hellers told a news conference today that tomorrow’s match against Moldova would be difficult for his side.
“We’ve analyzed some video materials with Moldova and I can say that it’s going to be a difficult game for us tomorrow. Moldova are a rival that deserves respect”, stated Hellers.
Even if the guest squad consists mostly of amateurs, the Luxembourgian manager hopes for a victory. “In the first fixture against Moldova we scored a very good result for us. Tomorrow we have to play perfect football to repeat the result”, says Guy Hellers.
The only absentee in the rival camp is Mario Mutsch; one of Luxembourg’s few professional footballers playing in France’s top division for FC Metz, Mutsch is suspended.
Moldova and Luxembourg have met twice so far. In 2003, Moldova won in a friendly with 2:1, and 2008 the two sides tied 0:0.
